Pre-event planning

Always remember to do any eyebrow plucking, bang trimming, cuticle work, or other personal grooming involving a sharp object at least several days before a big event. That way if you trim too much, pluck too much, or accidentally poke yourself in the eye, the resulting consequences will have a little time to grow or heal and not look so fresh, aka noticeable!
